Changelog

What changed in each version.

1.4.2 — Thai, Indonesian and Romanian

  • Three new languages: Thai (th), Indonesian (id) and Romanian (ro). Every Lua message, the tablet, the admin panel and the Hunter's Guide are translated. 13 languages in total.
  • Switch with Config.Locale or live in Admin → General → Language.

Update steps: replace the resource, keep your config/ and refresh. No config, item or database changes.

1.4.1 — Hunting parties, anti-cheat and live language switch

  • Hunting parties: a new Party tab and /huntparty. Up to 4 hunters, invites only to players next to you, members on the map and radar. Loot is never copied; XP is split between active members with a capped bonus, built against alt and AFK farming. See Hunting Parties.
  • Kill ownership: a fresh kill belongs to the shooter and their party for 3 minutes, checked on the server.
  • Animal anti-cheat: a server-side registry validates every spawned animal; fake or injected animals pay nothing. Headshots are verified (shooter, hunting weapon, realistic rate). New anticheat webhook. See Anti-cheat.
  • Live language switch: Admin → General → Language switches the whole server at once, no restart.
  • ESX built-in inventory is supported (ESX Legacy without ox_inventory).
  • Full translations: every Lua and tablet string in all 10 languages, including the Hunter's Guide.
  • Sell tab: the buyer's "also accepts" list is grouped with icons and prices.
  • Fixed: on QBox / standalone the tablet, selling and admin panel callbacks never answered.
  • Fixed: items are only paid after they really left the inventory; one carcass can't be skinned twice at once; another player can't unload your vehicle from a distance; the grill no longer destroys cooked meat with a full inventory; every callback and event has a rate limit.

Update steps: replace the resource and keep your config/. Add Config.Ownership, Config.Party and Config.AnimalGuard to config_main.lua, party = 'huntparty' to Config.Commands and 'party' to Config.Tablet.remoteTabs in config_bridge.lua, party and anticheat to Config.Webhooks in config_secrets.lua, then refresh. No new items or tables.

1.4.0 — Zone migration and the tanner's work table

  • Zone migration: every hour each hunting zone moves 100 m in a random direction, up to 300 m from its configured centre. Blips, spawning and zone checks follow for everyone, players get a notification, and positions survive restarts. See Hunting Zones & Migration.
  • Traps, baits and calls left where a zone used to be keep working at a lower chance (outsideChance).
  • Admin → Zones: migration settings, time to the next move and a Move zones now button.
  • Hunter's Guide: a usable hunting_guide item and a new Guide tab with 12 chapters explaining every system, with live numbers from the config (Polish text for now). One free copy comes with the first license.
  • Tanner work table: a sewing table with props next to the tanner. Admins move it with /edittable and turn it on or off with /edittable on|off, saved for everyone. See Tannery.
  • The tanner has a new default position.
  • Traps: a baited trap shows the bait inside it; admins position it with /trapbait.
  • Traps: the snare now catches boars, coyotes, deer and mountain lions, the cage catches rabbits and coyotes.
  • Fixed: moving an NPC in the admin panel copied its whole config into the database, so later config changes for that NPC were ignored.

Update steps: add the hunting_guide item, Config.Guide to config_main.lua, Config.ZoneDrift to config_zones.lua, the workTable block to TannerNPC in config_shop.lua and edittable = 'edittable' to Config.Commands in config_bridge.lua (or start from the new configs). No new items or tables.

1.3.0 — Traps, tannery, calls, skinning 2.0 and player management

  • Traps: snare and cage traps with their own 3D models, bait, durability, database storage, blips, map and radar markers and a tablet tab. See Traps.
  • Tannery: a new tanner NPC crafts hats, necklaces, jackets, trophies, rugs and bird calls from hides and parts. See Tannery.
  • Calls (lures): deer, predator and bird calls with a rhythm minigame; one animal answers. See Calls.
  • Skinning 2.0: top-down camera, knife in hand, cut-along-the-lines minigame with stages for big game, small game and birds.
  • Blood draw 2.0: heartbeat vein hit and plunger pressure minigame, carcass clotting.
  • Admin → Players: level, XP, license, stats, trophies, compendium, activity and resets for any player.
  • Mini radar, butcher express processing, contract bonus / streak / swap, weekly season rewards.
  • Automatic item check with config_items.lua (never edits other resources).
  • Console summary on start with an update check.
  • Security: blood only from a real dead animal, butcher carcasses are verified and consumed, fixed a grill duplication.
  • Smaller item icons (256 px).

Update steps: add the new items (the console lists missing ones), add the new files config_traps.lua, config_tannery.lua, config_lures.lua, config_items.lua and the TannerNPC entry in config_shop.lua; new tables are created automatically.
