The tanner turns hides and parts into crafted goods.
The tanner NPC (blip Tanner) crafts goods from hides, tusks, antlers and feathers. Talk to him to open the Tannery tab: pick a recipe, choose how many (1–maxBatch) and press Craft. The materials are taken and the craft waits in a queue (saved in the database). Come back and press Collect at the tanner.
Every craft starts with sewing. The hide lies on the bench with the outline of the item chalked on it (jacket, hat, rug, plaque, necklace…). Hold the mouse and lead the needle from hole to hole. Pulling too fast tangles the thread and undoes a stitch; leaving the line makes a crooked stitch.
maxTimeCut % for a flawless one.perfectScore+) has a bonusChance % chance of one extra piece.| Recipe | Needs | Time | Level | Sells for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coyote Fur Hat | 2 coyote hides (good), 1 rabbit hide (poor) | 3 min | 1 | $420 |
| Tusk Necklace | 2 boar tusks, 1 boar hide (good) | 4 min | 2 | $750 |
| Hunter's Jacket | 3 deer hides (good), 2 rabbit hides (good) | 5 min | 3 | $650 |
| Mounted Deer Head | 1 deer antlers, 1 deer hide (perfect) | 10 min | 5 | $520 |
| Mountain Lion Rug | 2 lion hides (perfect), 1 lion fang | 15 min | 8 | $1,250 |
| Bird Call | 2 seagull feathers, 1 crow feather, 1 stick | 2 min | 1 | — |
Crafted goods are sold to the hunter NPC. Carrying a Hunter's Jacket makes animals notice you later (jacketFleeMult). Each collected craft gives XP and counts towards the crafted_total stat.
A sewing table stands next to the tanner: a worn wooden table with a sewing machine, fabric, folded clothes, scissors, a pattern sheet and a lamp. It appears and disappears together with the tanner and is local to every player. If you move the tanner, the table moves with him.
Admins set it up in game:
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/edittable |
Moves the whole table with everything on it. Arrows move, PgUp / PgDn height, Q / E rotate, Shift fine steps, Enter saves for everyone, Backspace cancels |
/edittable off |
Hides the table for everyone |
/edittable on |
Shows it again |
Both are saved in the database like NPC positions, no config edit needed. The defaults (and the props on the table) are in Config.Locations.TannerNPC.workTable:

enabled = true,

},config/config_tannery.lua (live in Admin → Butcher & grill → Tannery). The NPC position is Config.Locations.TannerNPC and can be moved in Admin → General → NPC positions.
