Common Issues

Script-specific problems are on each script's own Common Issues page, for example the Hunting System.

#The resource does not start

• Check that the folder is inside resources and that the ensure line uses the folder name.
• oxmysql and ox_lib must start before the script. Move their ensure lines up.
• Read the first error in the server console - later errors are usually caused by it.

#Escrow errors

You lack the required entitlement, Syntax error near <\1> and Failed to verify protected resource are covered on the FiveM Asset Escrow page.

#Database errors

• Make sure oxmysql is started and your mysql_connection_string is correct.
• Tables are created automatically on the first start. If your database user cannot create tables, run the install/install.sql file of the script by hand.

#Items are missing or have no icon

• Add the item definitions from the script's install/ folder to your inventory.
• Copy the icons into your inventory's image folder.
• Restart the server after adding items.

#The interface does not show or looks outdated

• Make sure no other resource uses the same key binding or command.
• Clear the FiveM client cache: close FiveM and delete the cache folder in %localappdata%\FiveM\FiveM.app\data\.
